Now, we’d like you to “get involved.” We are asking you to determine the individuals, service organizations, and others that will be featured in the future issues of “Getting Involved.” Are there people you have in your life that you feel are taken for granted? The first issue of Getting Involved featured fifteen county wide non-profit organizations. The editorial for these recipients focused on the successes and challenges that non-profits face on a daily basis. While there were numerous other non-profits that deserve recognition the non-profits that were featured provided a strong representative group countywide…. merely a starting point for others to be featured in future editions.

“Getting Involved” was created to bring recognition to community members, service organizations, businesses and professionals that have made a personal commitment to enhance lives in Shiawassee County by “Getting Involved."
